JANE HOLLINGER
Jane Hollinger has been working with metal for over 20 years. It all started in high school when she worked for a goldsmith and fell in love with the process of working with metals. She went on to graduate from the New York College of Art and Design at Alfred University with a B.F.A. in metal sculpture and video art.
The current line of Jane Hollinger Jewelry is a timeless, yet modern mix of recycled solid metals, including fine silver, sterling silver, brass, 10k, 14k ,18k and 22k gold. All the pieces for the line are handmade in her studio, with Jane as the designer and head metalsmith , and a small, trained staff of fabricators.
Jane Hollinger Jewelry strives to be as low impact as possible on the environment, from the office to the studio. She carefully purchases all her raw metals through a company with integrity who never uses mined metals, only recycled. All chains are made in the U.S., and all raw materials are made with recycled metal. The stones she uses are chosen from trusted dealers that source responsibly. All diamonds are Harmony coded or Canadian white diamonds.
