It’s been an exciting week at the shop with beautiful new pieces from Italy! New arrivals include knits in black and ecru from Roberto Collina, as well as the popular shirting from Le Sarte Pettegole! We don’t have pictures so you’ll have to visit and see them in real life, and I think they are even better than last year. Hope to see you this weekend!
It’s official! MERCY designed a capsule collection of women’s clothing for lifestyle and children’s store, Advice from a Caterpillar, in Toronto’s Rosedale neighbourhood.
Available only at Advice from a Caterpillar (not at Gaspard), this limited run collection consists of several timeless pieces, each carefully designed to be both minimalist and sophisticated.
Styled by Daniela Bosco (@chassegardee), these lookbook images of the collection demonstrate how each piece can easily be incorporated into your existing wardrobe with basics like jeans, a great jacket, ballet flats, oxfords – or even sneakers.

We are very excited to be introducing this new label to Gaspard. The Ermanno Gallamini Brand was created in 2013 by Angelo Gallamini, heir of the famous Gallamini family tradition in the Italian fabric market.
For many decades the Gallamini family has made unique and fine fabrics for craft-tailors and fashion designers, leaders in high quality “Italy Style” products around the world.
The collection arises from materials: exclusive and precious fabrics, strictly made in Italy, used for the sartorial production of ponchos, large cloaks, blankets, waistcoats, hats, ties and belts.
All the Ermanno Gallamini items testify to a timeless style, dedicated to high profile customers seeking not only fashion but also excellence.
Wear his ponchos over everything: jeans, casual dresses, suits, everything.
Follow @angelogallamini on Instagram if you like pictures of vintage watches (he has an impressive collection), bull dogs (his dog just had puppies!), or beards (there are a lot of great selfies!)
Just in time for Valentine’s day, we have received a small but beautiful delivery of jewelry from goldsmith Jane Hollinger. There are some favourites here, as well as some new designs!
